Cyd - Lead therapist

My Why… After a series of consecutive, life-changing events, each totally out of my control, my go to "Suck it up buttercup" approach was no longer serving me as it had previously done so throughout my life. Therapy gave me the ability to unpick, and process myself and gave me an effective helicopter view of my life rather than being stuck on the same hamster wheel, going around in circles in my head. Knowing the positive impact therapy had provided me, I soon realised that l had a passion and drive to study to become a therapist myself.

Back to the here and now - I have been a therapist working with adults, young adults and children both privately and within local primary and secondary schools. Providing a safe, non-judgmental, empathic, nurturing space for others to be curious, explore, support, and work with them to create their own healthy coping mechanisms and a toolbox for them to use along the way.

We are all uniquely different, and I wholeheartedly believe that is our superpower!! It is an absolute privilege to walk alongside someone on their own journey.

“Hi, I’m Phoebe”
